This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for BIDBUD INC (“Company,” “we” or “us”). This privacy notice applies to information collected by the mobile application created, owned and made available to users (“you” or “User”) by BIDBUD INC (the “Platform”). It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Platform, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

  2. What personally identifiable information is collected via email, text and other electronic messages.

  3. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

  4. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

  5. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

 

This policy does not apply to information collected by: 

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Company; or

  • Any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on the Platform, including information collected by our service partners and other service providers, such as our payment processor, who each have their own privacy policies.

 

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Platform. By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of this Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

 

Children Under the Age of 13

 

Our Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Platform or through any of its features. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at Support@bidbudapp.com.

 

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 


We collect the following types of information from users of our Platform:

  • Information that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, and phone number and any other identifier by which you may be contacted (“personal information”).

  • Information about the job you are seeking bids for, including the location or geographic area (via zip code or geolocator) and any details about the specific project needs.

  • If you are bidding on a job, you provide your geographic location (via zip code or geolocator) can provide details about your qualifications and fees for the project as well as information about your prior experience.

  • Information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Platform, and usage details.

 

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.

  • Automatically as you navigate through the Platform. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.

Information You Provide to Us

 

The information we collect on or through our Platform may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Platform. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Platform, posting material on the Platform (including jobs you are requesting bids for, or jobs you are bidding on), or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Platform.

  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our Platform and of the fulfillment of your requested or completed jobs, including user reviews and feedback. We do not collect or facilitate the transfer of financial or payment information. This is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. 

 

You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") to other users of the Platform or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are posted on the Platform and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to other registered users in your geographic area, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Platform with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. 

 

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

 

 

As you navigate through and interact with our Platform, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Platform, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Platform.

  • Recognize you when you return to our Platform.

  • Web Beacons. Pages of the Platform and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

  • To present our Platform and its contents to you.

  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us, including posted jobs for you to big on or information about bids to a job you have posted.

  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

  • To facilitate processing of payment of the fees we charge for using certain services on our Platform.

  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.

  • To notify you about changes to our Platform or any products or services we offer or provide though it.

  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.

  • For any other purpose with your consent.

 

Disclosure of Your Information

We will not sell or rent your information to anyone. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request or as described below..

 

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of BIDBUD INC's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by BIDBUD INC about our Platform users is among the assets transferred.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, including to connect you with service providers who bid on your job post, or with people whose job posts you bid on. 

  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

  • With your consent.

 

We may also disclose your personal information:

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of BIDBUD INC, our customers, or others.

 

Your Access to and Control Over Information 

We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.  If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your address or contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out by checking the relevant box located on the form on which we collect your data or at any other time by adjusting your user preferences in your account profile or by sending us an email stating your request to Support@bidbudapp.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of fee processing or other transactional issues.

 

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

 

You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address given on our Platform:

  • See some data we have about you, if any.

  • Change/correct some data we have about you.

  • If you delete your User Contributions from the Platform, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Platform users.

 

Security 


We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Platform, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as phone number), that information is transmitted to us and then stored in a safe location.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, authentication or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

This Platform may contain links to other websites or platforms. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other platforms. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave any websites or platforms created and/or owned by BIDBUD INC to read the privacy statements of any other platforms that collects personally identifiable information.

 

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

 

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you, whether by contacting you or posting a notice on the Platform. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Platform and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
